Sealing Adhesives and Sealing Tapes

Thread sealants are important element in any pneumatic system, since they prevent leakage of compressed air from pipe joints. Joints in such system are considered to be dynamic due to vibration, pressure and temperature changes. Anaerobic sealants prevent leakage by creating insoluble tough plastic thread fillers, which work regardless of applied torque. Threadlockers are made of single component anaerobic, filling microscopic gaps between threads and polymerize to a tough solid whenever they come into contact of metal in the absence of air.
